Located 45 miles south of Sarasota & 65 miles north of Ft. Myers. Palm Island is readily accessible by way of US 41 or I-75. By boat enter between Marker 9 & 9A on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Our special Island lies just north of Boca Grande surrounded by the pristine waters of Charlotte Harbor , Lemon Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico - just a hundred yards off the mainland. There is no road bridge to the Island and there never will be. But our owners and resort guests enjoy easy access to Palm Island Resort aboard the Katie B car ferry. After the five minute trip to the Island, all vehicles proceed to the resort central parking area. Owners as well as guests have the convenient privilege of a full baggage service to deliver them to their homes or rental accommodation. In keeping with the harmony our white sand beaches, sea oats and shell paths, no motorized vehicles operate inside the resort property. Golf carts, bicycles and your own two feet are the primary means of transportation you’ll find on the Resort.

From All Points South of Port Charlotte via I-75. Take Exit 179 (Toledo Blade) WEST to State Road 776. Follow 776 to intersection of State Road 771. Go left on 771 and follow it around to State Road 775 ( at the Boca Grand Causeway). Go straight 3 miles to Palm Island Marina. Follow signs to Car Ferry. Upon disembarkation of Car Ferry follow Don Pedro Drive 1 mile to Palm Island Resort Reception / Check-in.

From All Points Venice and North via I-75. Take Exit 191 (River Road) WEST 14 miles to intersection light at Pine Street. Go LEFT on Pine Street and go straight ahead 10 miles to Palm Island Marina. Follow signs to Car Ferry. Upon disembarkation of Car Ferry follow Don Pedro Drive 1 mile to Palm Island Resort Reception / Check-in.

From All Points North and South of via the Intracoastal Water Way. Palm Island Marina located at Intra-Coastal Waterway marker # 9. Marina personnel will direct you from main dock.
